BC’s first province-wide, virtual Seedy Saturday Conference is taking place from February 19-21, 2021 via Zoom and Facebook, and is being collaboratively hosted by FarmFolk CityFolk and independent community Seedy Saturday organizers from across British Columbia.

A virtual, province-wide Seedy Saturday is a unique opportunity COVID-19 has presented us. Following a year of unprecedented interest in seeds and local food security, a virtual event will allow seed stewards, growers, and enthusiasts from all corners of our large province to connect, share ideas, and organize in a way that has not been possible before. We expect most of our participants to come from within BC, but since this event will be completely online, we also anticipate having guests from across Canada and the US joining in. Because of this reach, this event will be a wonderful opportunity to advertise your company and connect with seed enthusiasts outside your regular network.

Being a vendor at an online event will look a little different than setting up a table with your seed packets. Please see the attached document to take a closer look at the vendor application. If you would like to apply, please submit the required information by January 22, 2021. If we approve your application, we will require payment by February 5, 2021. Please note, food systems nonprofits are also welcome to apply for a free vendor spot using the same application.
