BC Seeds is a project of FarmFolkCityFolk, supporting BC based seed growers and groups to increase the quantity and quality of locally grown seed.

Patrick Steiner is a BC-based farmer and seedgrower. He operates Stellar Seeds, an organic seed company specializing in heirloom, rare and locally adapted seeds. His handbook "Small Scale Organic Seed Production" can be downloaded from this web site. Patrick is a board member of USC Canada and is a passionate farmer dedicated to improving local food production and seed sovereignty.
Heather Pritchard is the Farm Program Manager of Farm Folk/City Folk, a long time food activist and co-founder/farmer of Glorious Organics Co-op in the Fraser Valley. She is the grand daughter of H. G. Neufeld, inducted into the Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame for his work as a plant breeder in the early development of canola seed.
Susan Davidson, also of Glorious Organics Co-op, is a farmer and founding member of BCARA (B. C. Association of Regenerative Agriculture). Based on many years of experience with Community Alternatives Society and consensus decision-making, she helped found Glen Valley Organic Farm Co-op. She is a veteran vendor at the East Vancouver Farmers Market and a Board member for the newly formed Langley Community Farmers Market.
Robin Wheeler runs Edible Landscapes on the Sunshine Coast. She also writes about farming, sustainability and food growing. She is author of Gardening for the Faint of Heart, (Raincoast Books) How to Grow a Seed Collective (downloadable from this site) and writes a gardening column for Momentum magazine. She is an early member of Canadian Organic Growers and Seeds of Diversity.
